County Palatine is a Registered Social
Landlord (Housing Association) which has been providing homes since
1968. County Palatine uses grants provided by the Housing Corporation
and loans from financial institutions to build and refurbish properties
for those with a perceived housing need.

work of the company is overseen by a voluntary Board of Management
which meets regularly.
County Palatine operates throughout the Northwest of England with
properties in Wigan, Southport, St Helens, Chorley, Preston, Lancaster,
Warrington and Macclesfield

Authorities, statutory agencies and voluntary bodies.
County Palatine is registered in England with
the Industrial and Provident Society, with charitable rules.
In 2001/2002 the company recieved an allocation
from the Housing Corporation of £4.6m for a mix of new build and
rehab for rent. This year's main developments include schemes in
Wigan, Preston, and Lancaster. In addition, housing is being purchased
around areas of Preston, Rural Chorley and Rural Lancaster.
